Anjuili Foljambe
Arms of Anjuili Foljambe
Azure, two maple leaves in chevron inverted, conjoined stems, argent

Why this device:These arms are rooted in personal affection and family. Azure, the bearer’s favored color, forms the field. The two maple leaves represent the bearer’s twins, joined at their stems to reflect shared origin and enduring bond. The maple itself was chosen in remembrance of a large tree significant at the time the arms were conceived. Simple in design yet deeply personal in meaning, the device honors both family and place.

Brienne Lachian (the scorned)
Arms of Brienne Lachian (the scorned)
Per chevron inverted argent and azure, two foxes sejant respectant proper and in chief a forget-me-not azure

Why this device:These arms began as an aesthetic vision, refined within the rules of heraldry to create a device both distinctive and pleasing to the eye. Azure, the bearer’s favored color, forms the field, while the chevron-shaped argent division—resembling mountains and a valley—evokes both landscape and home. The two foxes represent the bearer and her daughter: vixens, feminine and independent, rendered in gules in accordance with heraldic convention though inspired by their natural coloring. Their upward gaze toward the forget-me-not reflects memory, kinship, and shared history. The flower, chosen from personal affection, also recalls associations with home and place. Though symbolism followed design, the resulting arms unite identity, family, and belonging in a composition both intentional and heartfelt.

Caius Julius Silvanus
Arms of Caius Julius Silvanus
Gyronny of twelve sable and argent, on a plate fimbriated a griffin sejant contourny vert

Why this device:These arms express personal identity and chosen path. The gryphon segreant represents vigilance, strength, and wisdom—qualities reflected in the meaning of the bearer’s name. Rendered in vert, it also signifies an enduring affinity for the forest and the color long favored since childhood. The argent moonburst upon a sable field evokes the night sky, reflecting a preference for moonlight over sun and silver over gold. The beast’s orientation to sinister was intentionally chosen, signifying a willingness to stand apart, to move against expectation, and to walk a self-determined road. Together, the elements form a device of independence and quiet strength, rooted in name, nature, and conviction.

Cedric de Lothian
Arms of Cedric de Lothian
Per fess sable and gules, a phoenix argent enflamed Or, in chief a Maltese cross argent

Why this device: The tinctures of the arms reflect the bearer’s path and convictions. Gules signifies courage and sacrifice freely given; sable speaks to constancy and endurance through trial; argent represents truth and clarity of purpose held fast amid uncertainty. The Maltese cross denotes faith expressed through service and tested resolve, while the phoenix enflamed stands as a symbol of renewal—of love and hope rising again from loss. Together, they affirm the motto Amor Resurgat: the faith that love shall rise again.

Cerridwen de Skene
Arms of Cerridwen de Skene
Vert, a ram clymant and on a chief argent three pairs of shears sable

Why this device: Inspired by an unworkable vision of an indignant, half-shorn ram waving shears overhead, these arms preserve the spirit of that idea in heraldic form. The ram clymant conveys vigor and independence, while the three pairs of shears reference its shearing. The tinctures are naturalistic rather than symbolic, depicting the ram in its pasture and the tools of its trade.

Erzebet Fauconneau
Arms of Erzebet Fauconneau
Counter-ermine, on a pile wavy argent a joscelyn sable belled Or

Why this device:These arms reflect a long-held fascination with falconry, from which the bearer’s persona surname, Fauconneau, is drawn. Unable to employ the falcon itself due to heraldic restriction, she instead chose elements integral to the practice: the jesses and the hawk’s bells. The twined ribbons symbolize the jesses, while the four bells are direct allusions to the equipment of the hawk. The tinctures sable and argent, with Or for the bells, were selected in part for heraldic simplicity and clarity, ensuring the design would be both registrable and distinct. The counter-ermine division strengthens the composition while preserving contrast. Together, the arms honor a passion for falconry through its tools rather than its bird, creating a device subtle yet unmistakable in meaning.

Maria Cristina de Cordoba
Arms of Maria Cristina de Cordoba
Per bend wavy argent and gules, a rose purpure barbed vert and a flask argent, for augmentation on a chief argent a trimount sable charged with a demi-escarbuncle issuant from the line of division argent

Why this device: The tinctures and charges of these arms reflect personal affinity, heritage, and place. Gules and argent were chosen in recognition of the colors of Aethelmearc, with gules also standing as the bearer’s favored hue. Sable was desired for the rose, but where that was not permitted, purpure was selected, representing dignity, creativity, and individuality. The rose itself signifies identity and continuity. The wine bottle alludes to Córdoba, Spain, long renowned for its wine, while also recalling the bearer’s upbringing in Florida, where rum is emblematic of both place and memory. Together, these elements unite personal history with chosen affiliation, forming arms rooted in both origin and experience.

Arms of Rannveig Hrajshvelgsneys Alfvinsdottir
Per chevron inverted rayonny azure and Or, a winged stag trippant argent and a rogacina footed of a demi-annulet gules

Why this device:These arms originated in youth and were later refined in maturity. The argent stag was inspired by a cherished pewter bookmark gifted by the bearer’s grandmother, and remains the heart of the device. Azure and Or were chosen for their resemblance to lapis lazuli, a favored stone, with the rayonné division suggesting radiance and flame. Archery, long a personal pursuit, was first represented by literal arrows and later rendered in more stylized form. In revisiting the design after many years, the stag was given wings, lending the beast greater presence and distinction. The arms thus reflect both continuity and growth—an early vision revisited, strengthened, and finally brought to registration.
